I just tried your cheese crust pizza today at Whole Foods in Chicago, IL. It was amazing! My husband, who is an extremely picky eater, really enjoyed it also. If I had to make one suggestion though it would be to try to lower the sodium, it was a little salty. My daughter also enjoyed it, even ate the crust which she normally does not! I still get 2-3 pizzas at a time at our Cedar Rapids Hy-Vee on Johnson Ave. NW. And several of my co-workers have bought them "just to see", and guess what, they loved it better than the regular! I don't even look at the other brands now, yours is always the best. Though I am still waiting for you to come up with an All Meat, or supreme, or Taco! It takes me forever to add the other ingredients, and I have a hard time waiting, even on myself!

We bought your frozen pizzas recently... and according to my our eight year old the pizzas were "sooo soooo awesome!!" and our two year old kept saying "yum good!!" while eating with two small slices, one in each little hand and 75% of it all over his face, down the front of his big belly and in his hair as toddlers do. Very cute!
Funny thing about it, my boys have never eaten their pizza crusts. They're generally tough and chewy and they just don't like them, always leaving them on the plate or in the takeout box. When the kids were done with yours, there was not a crumb left. Now they don't want those 'take out pizzas', they want boxed pizza to make at home. I love it because it tastes better, it's better for us and it's less expensive than carryout.

I have been buying the pizzas since Van started making them, but my sister gave me the pizza maker for my birthday. It worked so well on other pizzas, I tried it on the cheese crust pizza leaving it in its pan like it says in its directions. 10-15 minutes later it was done to perfection. I did let it set for a while to firm up and my sons loved it! |

We tried your pizza for the first time this weekend after hearing about it a long time on your morning program. Kacey (4 years old) and I listen to you and Bonnie every morning on the way to Des Moines Christian and my work about every morning. (Okay - sometimes Kacey insists on his kids music every now and then. He's quite the singer.) Anyway your pizza was a big hit. Kacey is sitting watching TV eating his pizza and said "Mom - this is really, really good pizza!" Later on "I need to have another piece". He is usually not a two piece pizza guy. We did not cut the pizza in a third - just regular slices.

I’ve been recently diagnosed with Celiac Sprue and your pizza brand is a great answer to my Friday night woes of watching my family eat pizza and me rice cakes. What once was a full family tradition every Friday night, turned around once I was diagnosed with this as I couldn’t eat regular pizza like most know it now anymore, family could but not me.
Weeks ago, our local Fort Dodge HyVee was promoting your pizza and giving samples, I stopped in my tracks saying 'really'? The best part was that it was so large and the same price, as if I had bought a smaller nationally known gluten free pizza. They already knew I had celiac and were glad to see someone get so excited about it. Hands down it was good with a nice blend of cheese. The pepperoni and sausage offer a nice variety too. Hope to see a mushroom or veggie version as well down the road.
Keep me up to date on future products and when our Fort Dodge Celiac Sprue chapter gets going Van, can you come up and talk to our group? We would love to hear about your experiences.

This morning in my local paper (Ithaca Journal, Ithaca, NY), I read about your revolutionary new pizza! I was shocked and terribly dismayed to not read one thing about the advantages of your new product on the world of diabetes. I am a type 2 diabetic and I have all but given up eating pizza. YOU HAVE CHANGED THAT! I then wrote to Mr. Elbert the articles author. He kindly and quickly wrote me back and included the complete article and your email.
Diabetes is one of the (if not THE) fastest growing conditions in our country! I don't know the exact statistics, but I certainly am bombarded with them in the media. Someone DESPERATELY needs to market this pizza to the diabetic population! Please Please Please think about this.....it's incredible! Hi, I just bought and ATE the WHOLE pizza by myself! I have Celiac Sprue and have not had a REAL pizza for 4 years. It was my favorite food, except for choclate! I may regret eating that much, but the taste was AMAZING!!! I tasted very rich and there was some sort of flavor that hit the back of my tongue and made it perfect!! The other gluten free pizzas had crusts that were "chalky" or "pasty". Our Hy-Vee here in Cedar Rapids only had the pepperoni, so I have to get the other 2. Are you planning to make a supreme, or meat lovers? I think those would be great and could still be gluten free. There are so few products that taste good and are gluten free, I am amazed at yours.

Van and Stuart, we had an informal get together last night at our home and decided we would serve pizza. I told my wife I would go to HyVee and get some Van Harden pizzas which she thought was a great idea. I ran to the 35th Street HyVee in WDM and to my dismay discovered they did not carry it. I told the Asst. Mgr they were making a big mistake and he agreed and said his manager was the only one in the area he knew of not carrying the product.
I then went to 19th and Railroad and bought a number of them. We brought them home and began cooking them up and they were disappearing as fast as I could cook them. Everyone raved and was amazed at how good they tasted. I think we created some new customers! Anyway, it's a wonderful product and should do real well in the market place if people get the word.

I have tried the pizza and love it. If no one would have told me that the pizza I was eating was not a flour crust I would have never known the difference. This is something that I think everyone should try. Goes back to the old saying "Try It, You Will Like It!"

I have been low-carbing for a while and tried and tried to come up with something similar to this. You have done it!!! SUCCESS!!! My 14 year old even loved it and advised me that this tasted way better than my other numerous attempt to create a crustless pizza. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!

Hey Van, I wanted to tell you that I had tried your pizza..I absolutely love it. I actually have Celiac Sprue so I am restricted to a gluten free diet. I have made my own crust from rice flour etc. The outer crust wasn't bad but everything else mushy..yuck! I do like your pizza & feel like I am eating a normal pizza. I guess I am!! My family likes is also. One question I have is: do you expect to make a personal pizza, for 1 person? It would be great for lunches or small meals rather than making a big pizza & refrigerating it. Anyway thanks for some normallacy in life!!

I just want to say thank you for inventing a pizza with no crust. For those on a low carb diet, it isn't worth it to go out and order a large pizza! Finally I can eat pizza without the starchy crust to go along!

| I have gluten intolerance meaning I have tried some really horrible tasting gluten free crusts. YUCH! I tried your mild Italian Sausage tonight and was quite pleased with the flavor! Thank You very much for coming up with one of the things I missed the most - PIZZA! |

My husband and I are on the Atkins diet, and we just finished eating our first cheese crust pizza. All we can say is if you stop making this pizza, our spirits will be flat as a bread crust. We just LOVED every flavorful bite! Thank you for inventing something so wonderful that will fit into our lifestyle. This has now officially become a regular item in our weekly repertoire of low carb entrees. Hopefully you will go national with this; everyone who eats low carb needs to experience this mouth-watering masterpiece.
