Rearranging Deck Chairs on the Titanic

I am burdened by something. When someone tells you a story, especially a good and important story, you don't want them to start in the middle! You want them to start at the beginning!  Yet that is exactly what much of the "church" world has done with Jesus. It's not surprising that more people don't come to Him.  I'm convinced that many don't REALLY know who He is, even when they think they do. They only know the part of the story from Bethlehem to assention.   It's almost as if He just showed up like Santa Claus, did good things and left.

If you and I are truly going to understand who we are, it is absolutely essential to know who He is, not just partially, but totally, from the beginning. He talks about His eternity BEFORE Bethlehem, who He was (and is) and what He did. And guess who it affects Today?  You and me, DEEPLY, every moment of every day!

While we are rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic by trying to fix social issues, politics, people's behavior and opinions, we have either ignored, or never been taught the most foundational part of our life.   This has bothered me so much that after 50 years of studying and teaching the Bible, I had to do what I felt has been so lacking.  I wrote "JESUS; THE PREQUEL, and the incredible difference it makes in our life."

Jesus prequel book

Was this really needed?  Well, here are a few responses I have received from many who have read the book:

-"I've never heard any of this before."

-"I guess I had heard these puzzle pieces before, but I never put them together."

-"I really thought I knew Jesus, but you are right, I only knew part of the story."

-"Wow,  You're right!  Not only have we left out part of the story, but, along with the gospel     itself, this may be the most  important part!"

-"What an incredible difference it is to read the gospels now after reading your book!  It's like     you've  given us a new pair of glasses!  Thank you so much!"

If you haven't read the book yet, I'd encourage you to do so soon!  One click ordering is available here. See details under the "books" section of this website.
