Van Harden's Final Morning Show Sign Off

After 50 years in radio, Van signed off in his final morning show on WHO Radio on January 8, 2021.

He shared his favorite memories of speaking to Iowans each morning, thanked the many radio personalities he worked with, and shared heartfelt words with his listeners.

Van began his radio career with his first broadcast in Perry, Iowa on Jan 8, 1971. He worked at four different radio stations in his career, most recently, 1040 WHO Radio in Des Moines, Iowa, from 1987 - 2021. He crafted the number one morning show in Iowa in the late 80's. It remained number one until his departure in 2021.
